Solutions Architect, Health Informatics

Role Purpose

Plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative healthcare information technology solutions. You will work closely with clinicians, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to identify business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and design and implement solutions that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

Planning:
•    Design and develop innovative health informatics solutions that leverage emerging technologies and best practices. This may include electronic health records (EHRs), clinical decision support systems (CDSS), data analytics platforms, and interoperability solutions.
•    Analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Implementation:
•    Lead or participate in the implementation of health informatics projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
•    Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems and technologies. Work with stakeholders to achieve interoperability across different healthcare organizations.
•    Implement data governance and security measures to ensure the privacy and integrity of patient data.

Stakeholder Management:
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities.

Monitoring & Record keeping:
•    Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the quality and functionality of new solutions.
•    Create clear and concise documentation for new solutions and provide training to users.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience
