Senior SAP Technical Analyst - Basis

Role Purpose

Setup and Manage Complex SAP Landscape, Integration with Internal/External Systems, Ensure security of Application data. Support the IT strategy and deliver solutions with Excellence to business

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Execute SAP landscape migration as Senior SAP Technical Analyst - Basis to S/4 HANA 
- Lead and influence SAP S/4 HANA simplification items, delivering solution approach wherever conflict occurs
- Serve as domain specialist and focal point for architectural planning, assessment and frameworks including, Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools
- Maintaining and developing in-depth and updated knowledge of overall SAP and related practices in terms of architecture, installation, and configuration of hard- and software and the provisioning of support
- Good understanding of SAP security architecture and integration across systems
- Designing the system landscape, Investigate and identify the needs of the business and the integration of envisaged global applications in the existing IT architecture and estimate project feasibility
- Ensuring being compliant and having up-to-date knowledge of procedures and processes in a validated environment
- Ensuring that monitoring tools / functionalities are considered in solution designs and are actively used to monitor and improve effectiveness of the implemented processes
- Support SAP Landscape strategy through client copies and system refreshes
- Working with SAP Cloud Platform and other SAP SaaS solutions like SF, Concur and Ariba 
- Participate in Disaster Recovery Setup & testing to help ensure business continuity.
- For support engagements, support end users in resolving the reported incidents within prescribed SLA
- Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting issues faced during implementation and/or support - investigate, analyze, and solve software problems
- Maintain existing SAP solutions and perform corrective actions and continuous improvements.
- Keep abreast with latest technologies and aware of the roadmap.
 

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP Certification in SAP HANA, Technology Professional - Basis

Required Years of Experience

• Proficient in SAP technology stack. 8+ years of applicable hands-on experience in SAP Platform and technology experience
• In-depth understanding of core IT infrastructure concepts: data centers, security, networking, storage, compute, backup, and software applications
• A plus if experience in project where SLO tools (SAP, SNP, Datavard) were used.
• Experience working with middleware, integration, and web technologies for SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of emerging HANA ecosystem and associated architecture
