Senior Officer, Trade Marketing

Role Purpose
Responsible for setting, adapting and implementing brand strategy in Saudi Arabia market. He/She will be the GTC single contact point with the principal.
Job Accountabilities & Activities
Budgeting:
• Responsible for the total primary sales (purchases) budget, forecast and performance.
• Negotiate and finalize annual business plans with all principals. Submit plan by category.
• Negotiate and align with all principals the annual trade marketing budget, maximize the investment and ensure enough investment is supporting in-market sales plans.
• Maximize Gross Margin either by negotiating better margins with the principals or by improving the product mix, through proper trade marketing investment's allocation.
• Continuously monitored operation to ensure manpower deployment is matching business requirements and commitments with principals.
• providing budget split guidelines, Nielsen retail audit trends and analysis.
• Align trade-marketing activities with the sales cycles to ensure investment is properly supporting sales.
Sales Operations:
• Align with the Trade Marketing Manager on the distribution and coverage objective of every principal.
• Support Trade Marketing Manager by strengthening relationship with key account customers.
• Establish a direct and personal relationship with top 30 wholesalers.
• Review performance monthly, to ensure alignment with in-market sales, distribution and display objectives are in line with key performance objectives
• Set guidelines and conduct in-depth root cause analysis.
• Revise prices as per the business needs.
• Review retail audits data and prepare action plans to reverse negative trends.
• Support Trade Marketing Manager by cross matching GTC database with Nielsen census report.
• Align with suppliers on various competitive activities; communicate countermeasure action with Trade Marketing Manager.
Receivables, Expiries and Reconciliation:
• Maximize the principals support on D&E.
• Set yearly spending budget aligned with principals, communicate the plan to the Trade Marketing Manager.
• Follow up on debit notes pertaining to spending for each and every principal in a timely manner.
Supply chain:
• Responsible for the building of the demand planning by category.
• Set dormant stock liquidation guidelines and communicate it to the Trade Marketing Manager.
• Attend with the team the safety trainings.
• Follow up on valid returns analysis with Supply Chain.
• Conduct an in-depth root cause analysis.
• Follow up on shipments with the Supply Chain department, optimize stock rotation and make sure to achieve DIOs target.
• Ensure enough stock by brand for each and every branch.
• Maintain excellent relationship with all principals.
• Ensure all principals are having a single point of contact with GTC
• Communicate monthly reporting to all principals.
• Organize market visits cycle, report wrongdoings to Trade Marketing Manager.
Education & Certifications
BA Business or Marketing
Required Years of Experience
Minimum 3-4 years sales Management experience.
Preferably 2-3 years Trade Marketing Management experience.
