Short Description (Role Purpose)

Drive revenue growth and market penetration within the government sector by developing and executing effective sales strategies, fostering key client relationships, exploring new business avenues, leading a sales team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful sales reports to enable informed decision-making.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets in the government sector. 
- Build and maintain relationships with key government clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including responding to government tenders.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, coordinating efforts with internal departments. 
- Manage existing accounts, focusing on customer retention and growth. Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities. 
- Ensure all sales activities comply with government regulations and ethical standards. 
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

 

Education & Certifications

Engineering / Information Technology or a similar discipline from an accredited university
