Manager, Business & Data Analytics

Role Purpose

Responsible for driving business process optimization, system enhancement, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions that support operational efficiency, data integrity, performance management, and strategic objectives. The position also leads process improvement initiatives, solution delivery, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption efforts.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

Operations:

Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional system specifications.
Support and enhance SaaS and ERP systems, ensuring operational effectiveness, data integrity, and seamless integration with reporting platforms.
Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and risk controls, resolve system and data quality issues, and support solution deployment activities.

Planning:

Analyze business processes and ERP utilization to identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements.
Develop solution designs, workflows, controls, and compliance requirements aligned with business objectives.
Identify opportunities for advanced analytics, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

Development:

Lead process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
Develop business cases and manage requirements delivery within Agile frameworks.
Support testing, UAT, and production readiness while promoting innovative technologies and best practices.

Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops, manage stakeholder engagement, communicate project updates, and support change management initiatives.

Reporting:

Monitor and report on project progress, operational performance, system utilization, KPIs, and SLA compliance.
Support the development of reports, dashboards, and analytics while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Knowledge Management & Training
Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes, ERP systems, SaaS applications, and data management.
Develop documentation, deliver user training, and promote knowledge sharing and analytics adoption across the organization.

Governance & Compliance:

Ensure business processes, system solutions, and data management practices comply with governance, risk management, and organizational standards.

Education & Certifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent qualification preferred.

Certifications

• Preferred certifications include:
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• Agile Certification (Scrum Master, Agile Practitioner, or equivalent)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ERP Certifications (Oracle, SAP S/4HANA, Murex, or equivalent)
• Data Analytics or Business Intelligence Certifications (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, SAP Datasphere, etc.)

Required Years of Experience

5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, ERP systems, process improvement, data analytics, or business transformation within financial services or related industries.
