Role Purpose:

To be responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects. The candidate will be working closely with functional team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

The candidate is an individual who provides leadership to project coordinators and other team members. They are responsible for making sure that all aspects of a project are successful and satisfactory to the stakeholders. 


Key Accountabilities:


Strategy Development and Planning:

  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with operating companies.
  • Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Creating detailed plans for projects
  • Help consolidating functional and technical requirements
  • Analyze business processes and provides guidance to improve business flows
  • Help designing and building the interfaces (e.g. with SAP) and required reports
  • Provide recommendations for business weaknesses
  • Project manager for future transformational technology enabled projects, enhancements, upgrades, change requests implementation

Budget Management:

  • Determining which materials and supplies are needed
  • Estimating project costs
  • Explore solutions and develop full proposals including scope/ time/ cost/ ROI and liaise with different stakeholders for implementation
  • Develop and administer the projects budget and drive alignment with all concerned stakeholders.
  • Implement processes and reports to communicate spend control, cross-charges, forecast and other financial planning needs.
  • Develop the reporting tools to deliver the above and ensure full testing of accuracy, completeness, reliability etc.

Corporate Risk Management:

  • Working with risk management experts to determine the hazards of each new project

Audit Planning:

  • Respond to audit queries pertaining to the projects

Stakeholder Relationship Management :

  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.
  • Discussing goals with operating companies and executive management
  • Providing regular updates for stakeholders, steering committees… etc.
  • Coordinate with the multi-function teams and businesses to ensure a successful implementation
  • Engage in vendor management to provide superior qualifications and governance e.g. RFP’s, bidding, contracts, relationship, commercial terms.

People and Performance Management :

  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Hiring temporary or contract employees for individual projects when necessary
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
  • Checking the work of functional stakeholders for accuracy and quality
  • Train end users (new hires, role changes, new features…) and develop the required documentation
  • Lead the alignment and documentation of business performance KPI’s, reporting/dashboards needs (format, content, audience, frequency)

Policies and Procedures:

  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Instill best practices in the use of systems
  • Help testing systems and processes
  • Ensure to include SLAs relating to systems availability, incident, and service request resolution


Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

7+ years experienced project manager who has previously worked on large scale implementation in SAP or other similar ERP’s.

  • Wide IT functions knowledge
  • Knowledge in managing IT across multi-functions
  • Project management technics and methodology.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.


Job Specific Technical Skills

  • Preferred exposure to ERP’s, Trending Technologies, and functional operations knowledge such as sales, distribution, logistics and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in project management.


Education and Certification Requirements

  • A degree in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
