PSG Engineer

Short Description (Role Purpose)

To install, maintain and repair Xerox PSG and multifunction office printers, copiers and scanners products, with high optimum level, cost effectiveness, & with minimum down time as possible.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Assist in customer education in operating the machine correctly, replacing consumables, getting the meter read, & how to place a service call.
- Guid and develop the PSG Operators skills for Graphic Printing and production Printing
- Focus and arrangement to have reliability of continuous operation of PSG Printers with minimum possible breakdowns.
- Generate sales leads.
- Generate contract leads.
- Always comply with the communication directions from the work controller .
-Close the breakdown service calls and to achieve target response time. 
- Reports all the service documents in a timely and with accurate data. 
- Achieve optimum satisfaction for quality of Graphic Printing and production Printing for PSG Customers
- Demonstrate the correct procedure to reach SXL service and related work area. 
- Good training (do’s & don’ts) for Xerox Product Operation and functions to achieve best quality prints
- Assist other engineers as and when needed or directed by Manager or Work Controller.
- To display total commitment and achieve total customer satisfaction of the highest level in a professional manner.
- To totally understand customer needs and Graphic Printing and production Printing requirements and accordingly provide quality service, solutions, and assistance .
 

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent.    

Required Years of Experience

Office automation background & equivalent experience of at least 2 years in similar field.
