Role Purpose

Oversee the daily operations of a real estate property and making sure that the property is run smoothly, and the owner’s needs are met.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

  • Managing the property’s finances, by keeping accurate records and paying all taxes and levies as necessary
  • Maintaining the property and ensuring regular building upkeep, addressing tenant complaints, completing repairs, and contracting landscaping.
  • Carrying out property valuations
  • Handling building inspections for prospective tenants
  • Preparing regular property-status reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Establishes rental rate by surveying local rental rates and calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
  • Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping.
  • Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs.
  • Secures property by contracting with security patrol service, installing and maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
  • Enforces occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Required Years of Experience

3 years minimum of relevant experience.
