Technician 1

Role Purpose

A Technician Level 1 is expected to perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufactures standards.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

-  Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on equipment.
Where required assist and support other team members to complete their assigned tasks.
- Diagnose, analyses and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.
- Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with Manufacturers standard times.
- Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.
- Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.
 

Education & Certifications

• High school education
• Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufactures qualification

Required Years of Experience

Over 8 years’ work experience or equivalent knowledge in repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment
