V&W Team Lead

Role Purpose

Responsible for set up and program the CNC machines for premium connections, API connections and other jobs in coordination with the section supervisor instructions

Job Accountabilities & Activities

-Set up the machine and execute the job, assigned by the supervisor, in accordance with the routing sheet and drawing supplied
- Execution of works in compliance with company quality system, API / ISO / OEM standards.
- Check the work for quality and accuracy.
- Check the calibration status of the measuring instrument and inform the supervisor and QC, as when it is due for calibration.
- Reports any faults or problems to the supervisor/Superintendent/ Manager. 
- Ensure the machinery, tools, measuring instruments being used is clean, safe and good working condition.
- Perform shift handover duties with shop supervisor/ Foreman.
- Record all production activities against the each workorders and Consumable list used for production.
- Maintain safety in the working area and wear the PPE as set by the company.
- Advise maintenance department for appropriate repair works required for CNC machines in order to avoid / minimize the lost of productive hours.
 

Education & Certifications

Diploma in Mechanical, production or Industrial engineering

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a machine shop environment under senor machinist role or similar with experience of operating CNC machines with Fanuc, Siemens or Mazak Control system.
