Technician, Mechanical

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining the plant critical system and equipment’s and building & facility equipment’s.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

1. Monitoring and operate all utility machines (Boiler, RO, Distiller, Chillers, Cooling Towers and Air compressors).
2. Able to provide a moderate level of troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair of Mechanical systems and plant equipment’s within scope of training and related procedures.
3. Identify the status of machines issue during operation and prepare preventive maintenance plan to protect the machines breakdown.
4. Maintain general cleanliness of Utility machines as per the procedures, to ensure all are clean and operate under normal conditions.
5. Performs preventive maintenance of all plant equipment’s including utility machines on a regular basis as per the preventive maintenance scheduled plans.
6. Responsible to guide the team for repairing building components and all company non-productive equipment’s.
7. Monitor all necessary workshop tasks which support the equipment’s Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plans.
8. Refresh team to be familiar with plant SOPs and Corporate specifications governing the operation of utility machines.
9. Refresh the team about daily water routine analysis, all critical systems operation and local GMP practices.
10. Able to perform the daily routine Mechanical maintenance on utility machines, and familiar in recording data as per GMP/GDP requirements by filling the daily log sheets, also able to review these records in association with tasks trained and assigned to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with GMP requirements.
11. Total Employee Involvement with responsibility for EHS per Facility Best Safety Practices (BSPs) in Employee Accountability and operate workshop equipment’s and maintain the plant equipment’s in a safe way.

Education & Certifications

Diploma or BSC in Mechanical Engineering.

Required Years of Experience

3-5 years working experience in similar field (Pharmaceutical, Food or Dairy) is required.
