Senior Manager, Manufacturing

Role Purpose

Organize and oversee the manufacturing process and ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output and Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines with cost-effective.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Strong in Decision-making and problem-solving
- Ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets
- Monitor production to resolve issues
- Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
- Establish goals for production, and coordinate a plan to meet those goals
- Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting  production
- Responsible for allocating labor resources, tracking production schedules and cost adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Communicate with other departments, such as the financial department to establish budgets, HR department to hire new workers, or the logistics department to ensure the delivery of products
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (Supervisor, and workers etc.)
- Watch for hiccups in the process, and look for opportunities to improve operations
- Analyze production data and optimize for efficiency
- Determine the number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions
 

Education & Certifications

Degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering or Manufacturing

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 20 years of Working experience in as Supervisor/Manager role.
