Programmer

Role Purpose

Responsible for set up and program the CNC machines for premium connections, API connections and other jobs in coordination with the section supervisor instructions.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

• Set up the machine and execute the job, assigned by the supervisor, in accordance with the routing sheet and drawing supplied
• Execution of works in compliance with company quality system, API / ISO / OEM standards.
• Check the work for quality and accuracy
• Check the calibration status of the measuring instrument and inform the supervisor and QC, as when it is due for calibration.
• Reports any faults or problems to the supervisor
• Ensure the machinery, tools, measuring instruments being used is clean, safe and good working condition.
• Maintain safety in the working area and wear the PPE as set by the company.
• Advise maintenance department for appropriate repair works required for CNC machines in order to avoid / minimize the loss of productive hours.
• Completion of work within the time allotted for the job
• Zero lost time accidents
• Reduction in nonconformance.

Education & Certifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree .

Required Years of Experience

• 3 Years of experince
• Background and experience in a machine shop environment with experience of operating CNC machines.
