Role Purpose

Senior level position on warehouse site, responsible for Managing the products Receipt/Storage/Retrieval and on time delivery. Ensuring the workplace is healthy/safety and secure. Insuring of productivity targets are met and maintaining the KPI’s. Managing team and deal with personal issues/training and developing. Managing the admin work and reporting. Dealing with Government issues.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Manage warehouse operations in all locations in compliance with company policies and vision. 
- Handle all legality and Governments licenses with day-by-day traceability 
- Monitor day to day In-bound and Out-Bound activities 
- Regularly re-visit the processes and update changes after approvals.         
- Distribute the workload to ensure there is no Over Time cost. 
- Control all utilities and Adhoc cost to reduce it.
- Generate a weekly production plan and a monthly size changeover schedule as per sales requirement.
- To ensure through the team that all aspects of the business operate within defined corporate and legislative requirements.
- Supervise warehouse and store activities in terms of interdepartmental movement of raw materials, finished goods, spares and consumables. 
- Ensures accurate and timely documentation and entry of computerized data.
- Liaisons with transport contractor to schedule trucks, ensures timely order dispatch at optimal cost and confirms receipt of goods in good condition by the clients.
- Ensuring that suppliers and customers are approved.
- Ensure that all delivery is released based on the pharmacist approval avoiding any nonconformity.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships within the Service Providers, Operational Team and Transportation Team to ensure all targets are met.
- Liaisons with finance dept on sales order processing and related documentations.
- Attend and actively participate in daily Throughput Co-ordination meetings
- participate in the daily throughput plans and contribute to all quality related aspects
- Ensure that Product storing secure, by lot, easy pick, as per fast moving and FEFO. 
- Ensure that Lot wise system and physically inventory matching.
- Ensure during in-bound stock are stored in the right locations. 
- Ensure Data Entry for all activates is done on time.
- Ensure high efficiency during the operation.
- Ensure proper Hygiene standards are followed in the WH’s and the vehicles.  
- Analyses the effectiveness of the strategic plan against tactical operational deployment and cost implications.
- Develop corrective action for any storing and distribution problems and implement QA related measures to prevent future recurrences. 
- Ensuring that self-inspections are performed at appropriate regular intervals following a prearranged program and necessary corrective measures are put in place.
- Ensuring that initial and continuous training programs are implemented and maintained.
- Assist with investigation into customer complaints.
 

Education & Certifications

• College Graduate (Operations/Industrial/Business)
• Secondary Level Education
• Computer literate

Required Years of Experience

Minimum 6-year experience in logistics with 'hands on' experience in a busy warehouse/trucking operation.
