Role Purpose
Oversee the operational and manufacturing activities of AMCO OFS division plant and ensure that the workforce is productive. Their duties include working with other senior staff on strategic planning, ensuring that staff are all aware of operational best practices, and implementing new technologies.
Organize and oversee the manufacturing process and ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production activities and the quality of output and organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines with cost-effective manner.
Job Accountabilities & Activities
- Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
- Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time deliveries.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff and aallocating resources effectively and fully utilizing assets to produce optimal results.
- Monitoring operations and triggering corrective actions.
- Collecting and analyzing data to find places of waste or overtime.
- Committing to maintain high level plant safety procedures.
- Developing systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
- Addressing employees' issues or grievances and administering collective bargaining agreements.
- Analyzing productivity data and optimizing staffing and production capacity.
- Working closely with other department managers to improve efficiency.
- Designing new processes to improve quality or increase productivity or profitability.
- Maintaining API, Premium, and Customer specific Licenses that the organization is holding.
- Providing extensive hands-on knowledge, experience, and best practices on relevant Technical Standards and Codes.
- Ensuring effective and efficient utilization of the company’s resources/capacity and improve the On-Time-Delivery (OTD) to a customer-acceptable level.
- Leading Qualification processes for any new products or services offered to ARAMCO and other companies.
- Supporting both sales departments and external customers.
Education & Certifications
Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering from a reputable university.
Required Years of Experience
- Min 20-25 years’ experience in working with and leading operations teams in oil and gas.
- Proven track record of managing internal and external stakeholders in manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, API Q1, API 6A,16C, 16A, API 5CT and OCTG Threading)
