Maintenance Team Lead

Role Purpose

An excellent maintenance supervisor must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. He must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as CNC lathe machines troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical issues, etc.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

• Installation and commissioning of CNC machines (electrical and mechanical installations).
• Maintaining all types of CNC machines.
• Basic programming for CNC machines.
• Reconditioning of CNC machines.
• Advance the fundamental electronic principles.  Able to interpret blueprint and schematic components. Able to follow basic troubleshooting.
• Advanced exhibit introductory knowledge of electrical symbols. Apply basic electrical principles of motors (linear, servo, AC induction, DC motor). Understand single line diagram. Able to diagnose any technical problem with the electrical system.
• Intermediate knowledge of primary program logic controller (PLC). Exhibits knowledge of Legend PLC. Able to diagnose any technical problem at PLC control.
•  Measure and adjust hydraulic pressure. Read and interpret primary hydraulic symbols and schematics. Inspect/replace damaged or faulty hydraulic lines. Able to diagnose any technical problem in the Hydraulic system.
• Perform to interpret basic pneumatic symbols. Interpret pneumatic principle. Perform to diagnose any technical problem at the Pneumatic system.
• Able to measure with measuring tooling. Use appropriate measurement instruments.
• Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate set-up procedure. Able to interpret the principle of mechanism.
• Delegation work to subordinates, focus on middle-level, middle-value activities. Lead associates, encourage input from other team members, and value and use individual differences and talents to achieve team goals.
• Knowledge of lock / tag-out procedures, safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong knowledge of machine electrical and mechanical components.
• Initiate preventive maintenance program and ensure its implementation.
• Adhere to the risk assessment controls identified.

Education & Certifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineer (Industrial).

Required Years of Experience

More than five years of experience in the oil and gas machining industry.
