Role Purpose

 

Works under direct supervision and detailed guidance, to provide administrative assistance to the workshop manager and senior staff to execute the day-to-day relevant operations processes and procedures, as well as compiling Warehouse Data Analysis and Key Performance Data on all Warehouse Operational Matters.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

 

- Warehouse Management System data entry 
- Enter all data into the system and in line with standard operating guidelines.
- Ensure receipt and entry of all orders as per Order Prompt.
- Enter order in system as per delivery date, expiry date and logistics requirements of the customer.
- Generate picking ticket and ensure deliver to 3rd party logistics for delivery
- Pick up lost orders due to product not available daily and obtain a new order to ensure 100% losses are recovered.
- Inventory Data Input.
- Tracking of Purchased Asset.
- General administration support to the Warehouse Manager and team. 
- Any other clerical and checking tasks as required.
- Maintaining register of outgoing and incoming correspondence and other documents as directed.
- Keeping departmental records, processing forms, clerical duties photocopying.
- Complies and calculates information and data for routine reports, preparation of routine reports for review bay superior, assists in operational matters.
- Reviewing and processing of stock orders through a systematic and timely manner 
- Weekly stock order report
- Preparing Core’s return twice a year to our suppliers.
- Compiles the Daily Warehouse Activity Reports.
- Compiles the weekly Warehouse Utilization reports.
- Creation and compilation of reports as directed 
- Conducts periodic Pick Performance Audit checks on warehouse collated stock orders. 
- Conducts Cyclic counting of Warehouse stock as directed. 
- Checks invoices received against Transport Contracts and ensures they are correct and in accordance with contract rates and services. 
- Checks invoices received against Transport Van Hire and ensures they are correct and in accordance with contract rates and services.

 

Education & Certifications

 

Diploma (Operations/Industrial/Business) is preferred or at minimum; a Secondary Level Education

Required Years of Experience

 

2-year experience in logistics.
