Short Description (Role Purpose)

  • Responsible for the overall operation of a Branch and all its activities.
  • Responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability.
  • Responsible for the profitability, risk management, and growth of the branch

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
- Maximizing the profitability of the branch whilst achieving customer service and retention objectives.
- Drive performance in all departments to achieve branch and business-related targets.
- Take full accountability for the profitability, risk management, and growth of the branch. 
- Work with HQ Divisional Managers to extract market data and to develop customer specific action plans for growth.
- Dealing with escalated customer issues
-Through management activities and operations, Branch Manager executes business plan actions to ensure achievement of office's goals including service delivery, service quality, service recovery, revenue growth, productivity, and cost control.
-Keeping up to date with industry trends, economic policies and changing markets.
-Function as the champion and gatekeeper for organization values and culture for the branch. Role model these values and embody the GCC culture in your everyday actions so employees know what success looks like and can pattern their own behavior and interaction with team members and business partners successfully.
Ensure company procedure are followed.
-Maintain a high level of interpersonal relationships while working collaboratively with corporate management, other locations, and store employees.
-Monitoring the performance of teams and motivating them to reach targets
-interviewing and selecting candidates for vacant job positions within the branch
-guiding the staff in the region, coaching and setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance.

Education & Certifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent

Required Years of Experience

  • Five years’ successful experience in retail/operations management with proven history of achieving sales and business objectives.
  • Experience within automotive/trucking/ heavy equipment industry.
  • Experience with identifying problems & root cause; experience identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, and executing solutions.
  • Experience managing P&L.
